- National protest, this are protest occurring in country which are usually not divided into states but rather all areas are managed by the national government through counties (unitary countries) e.g. most African and Asian countries

Causes of Police brutality in Federated Countries
The cause of police brutality and racism in federated countries is usually caused by imbalance in power between the state government and the federal government ,More power to the states causes abuse of power since it’s the state government that are in charge of running the police department and when police complaints are presented to the state government to be addressed the state officials submarine the complaints so as to protect their police departments and to avoid the city and states being fined heavy fines
Solution to police brutality in the federated countries
Dealing with police brutality in the federated countries is usually tough due to constitutional constraints since there has to be affair balance power between the federal government and the states government, more power to the state is the key to inequality in federated countries. The way to solve police brutality is through
- Simple solution; Creation of a federal agency that deals with recording, analyzing and persecuting police complaints
- Tough solution; The toughest and the hardest solution to be executed will the states handing over their police departments as that police men will be federal employees and monitored by federal government
Causes of police brutality in the national countries (unitary countries)
Unitary countries usually suffer from police brutality but racism is usually rare cause they usually small and aren’t so diverse as the federated countries in terms of race, in this sort of countries, police brutality is usually caused by handing over excessive power to the police units and lack of a national body to follow through the Complaints presented and convict the police who are guilty
Solution of Police brutality in Unitary countries
Police brutality in the national countries can be solved quickly and more efficiently than in the Federated states, to reduce police brutality in federated states
- Legislation to create a national government agency that deals with national wide police complaints and have power to sue and prosecute police persons if they are found guilty
- Stipulating well directed rules on when the police can use tough force on the public
DEFUNDING THE POLICE WILL AND SHALL NEVER BE THE SOLUTION TO POLICE BRUTALITY
